Due to the level of amenities available at Lake Hood continuous live results are not expected from the regatta. Hopefully though, batches of results will be made available throughout each day. The crowds are so large and cellphone coverage so poor that results cannot be uploaded during the regatta. Instead, the plan is to head into town and upload all results at the end of the day. So today's results are now available should become available around 3:00pm. p.s. conditions are excellent (but hot and getting hotter), racing is on time.

Scheduling plans have changed a little bit. It will be heats on Saturday and finals on Sunday. This is because the laws around bus drivers' hours now extend to coaches/teachers driving pupils. So days (including travel time) need to be kept within 13 hours.

note: finals races on Sunday may be compressed a little bit to help shorten the day now that it will have extra races e.g. 7 minutes instead of 8 between A finals if there is no B final.

The following is set out in the Conditions but bears repeating:
- The intention is the first Finals will start on Saturday 5 March. Hopefully finals for events 1-12 will be completed after a stand down period after heats.
- A Finals will be set at 8 minute intervals (where possible).
- B finals will only be held for events with 24+ starters
- the will be no C Finals

The programme of events is the NZSSRA Championships programme of events with the following changes:
- boys and girls lightweight U18 fours have been relocated to be raced immediately after their respective heavyweight U18 fours (as events 23A and 24A)
- boys and girtls U15 octuples have been relocated to be raced after their respective U18 eights events (as events 51A and 52A)
