Due to the exceedingly low number of entries in Championship events the regatta will no longer be held as the Wellington Provincial Championships. Instead the Norton Cup has been allocated to this regatta.

This is the collection of regatta notices for the 2016 Norton Cup.
The Norton Cup will be contested at this regatta. All classes are eligible to compete for points.
The classes eligible for points, trophies, and medals are: Under-19, Novice, Club, Premier.
note: coxed boats entered in coxless Premier events pursuant to Condition 8 and composite crews are ineligible for points, trophies and medals.

Medals
The winning crew in each eligible class will be presented with a gold medal.
The regatta is the Wellington club championships. It is primarily intended for crews racing in NZRA Championships classes. The Masters and NZSSRA classes will be available for clubs' other members. However, only entries in U19, Novice, Club, and Premier classes will compete for points, trophies, and medals (see notice below for award details).
