Two-day regatta

This year the regatta has a two-day format. Day one is similar to the August regatta e.g. blocks of 1000m age-group races, plus blocks will also have 500m racing, for Novice Grades and a new grade "Recreational Masters”+. We also have the New Masters Grade over 1000m for people that started racing after January 2020. There will be BBQ held after racing on Saturday. Then day two will be a morning of racing starting with 250m dash races followed by a 6000m long distance race.

+ "Recreational Masters" is more social grade of racing. You could be under 5 years rowing experience, or you might be returning to rowing after a lengthy break, or you might be an existing master rower who can only train once (maybe twice) a week. Competitive rowers are expected to enter the 1000m events.
