The decision to cancel the Queens Cup regatta has been made.

Despite best efforts it was proving too logistically difficult to pull together all the requirements to support a safe regatta for predominantly Novice competitors on the Lambton Harbour short course. But the change in venue and time also reduced entries too low to sustain a regatta. So there was no choice except to cancel.

With Sunday's forecast of Southerlies the venue has been changed from Korokoro to town and the 500m Queens Wharf short course. The draft schedule has been updated to show an afternoon regatta due to other events being held in the vicinity in the morning.
This is not a "go ahead" decision, there are still logistics issues to be resolved.
