The Race committee has decided to row this event before other races tomorrow morning as a result of the number of DNS's recorded in the event.

Rowing New Zealand has requested the a heat be raced for the Mens Premier Coxless Four. This will be raced at 9:20am on the Friday morning before the age group racing commences at 9:30am. Racing from this heat will not determine eligability to race the final.

KRI is offering the opportunity for crews to practice getting into the start
This is in response to the delays we suffered at the first two regattas of the season and is an attempt to proactively manage issues before they arise
We realise there will be a large number of crews attending the Christmas regatta who have not yet been to Karapiro

It should be noted as per the rules of racing Crews need to attach 2 minutes prior to start time, otherwise the Chief starter has discretion as to whether they start or not.
Inability to get your Crews into the start promptly may result in Crews not racing, please take advantage of this opportunity to avoid this, as we cannot have the regatta go overtime as we have at the last two Regattas

Thursday afternoon we will have Race Officials at the Start from 3 PM until 5 Pm to assist in Crews learning to manoeuvre
Friday morning we will run a similar session from 7:30am until 8:30 am, Last boat to leave the pontoons will be at 8:15am
