This is to let you know that the Waipa District Council has made the decision that the Mighty River Domain will not host any events in December. A link to their Announcement is here
Regretfully this means that we are unable to hold the Christmas Regatta.
We will provide an update on the remaining regatta season later next week.

Notices: Christmas Regatta
This is the collection of regatta notices for the 2021 Christmas Regatta.
Karapiro Rowing can confirm they are planning to hold the Christmas Regatta, as long as the Waipa District Council is in Orange under the new COVID-19 Protection Framework on the 15th of December. They are proceeding on the basis the Domain will be a place where vaccination certificates are required for everyone attending the regatta.
Karapiro Rowing are not able to hold a regatta if the district is in Red or if they are subject to the restriction on numbers when vaccination certificates are not required.
Without knowing what the Government will announce on 29th November, there is still a relatively high risk that this regatta may have to be cancelled at the last minute.
