2024-02-16 11:50:22You can find the official webcast, brought to you by Milford, on the RowingHub website. Now with two channels: main, and B Finals.
2024-02-16 08:13:01WREC#1 was relegated from third place to last place in its W Nov 4X+ semi-final after the crew members forgot to make sure their boat was carrying the coxswain deadweight. The crew missed out on an A Final as a consequence.
Competitors are reminded that deadweight is a crew responsibility. Coxswains: tell your rowers when there is supposed to be deadweight in the boat (and how much). Rowers: make sure you find out whether there is supposed to be deadweight in the boat (and how much).
Friday's day sheet is now available.

BPCC#1 was relegated from first place to last place in its M Int 2X semi-final, after the boat weighed in underweight when checked after race. The crew missed out on an A Final as a consequence.
If you are in a semi-final and your boat has not been test weighed yet at this regatta (or has not been re-tested after drying out over the last couple of days) then you are risking relegation, which could cause you to miss out on A Finals.
Clubs and competitors are reminded crews are to race in the registered colours of the club. Uniforms must be consistent e.g. not a mix of old and new. Undergarments may be worn under the official uniform but they must be consistent e.g. if one rower has a T-shirt under their uniform then all crew members must wear T-shirts and the T-shirts must be the same colour.
2024-02-15 07:33:00Thursday's day sheet is now available.
2024-02-14 18:18:52The updated draft schedule is now available.
note: crews can opt out of Prelim races but must advise Regatta Control (see Condition 8)
These can no longer be entered online (due to having fundamentally different eligibility criteria than the standard events). But entries can still be made at the regatta, at the Control Tower, until midday Wednesday.
2024-02-09 19:11:02Nominations for the 2024 Premier Draft at the New Zealand Rowing Championships are now open.
Six Premier 4X- and three Premier 8+ crews for both men and women, will be selected by the Team Captains.
If you would like to be considered for these Premier crews, please fill out the nomination form which is available HERE.
After completing the form, please email your headshot to Kate Adams.
Please note:
Eligible rowers need to be Senior grade and above
Please only nominate for the Draft if your racing schedule allows you to compete
Don't forget we need coxswains too!
Please note, the finals for the U22 1X and U22 2- will take place on Thursday 15 February. This is to avoid clashes with the finals of the Senior 1X and 2- events.
2024-01-15 11:35:11There is currently a Gold Clam infestation at Karapiro. The rowing community needs to do its part to prevent this invasive species spreading elsewhere.
