Notices: WTMC-TAKA Regatta

This is the collection of regatta notices for the 2016 WTMC-TAKA Regatta.

Be on time!

To keep the regatta on schedule we have assigned an additional umpire and muster boat to the regatta operations, and regatta officials will work hard to keep things moving on the day. However, rowers must do their part and be ON TIME for their races. Starts will not be delayed for late crews. Please ensure that your crews listen to the announcer and follow the instructions of the boat park manager (Terry Tidbury) and other regatta officials and volunteers. Please remember that safety is still paramount and crews should take care and not run with skiffs and oars even if they are late.

Late finish

Due to the overwhelming and enthusiastic response to this year's regatta, we have a very full programme that we hope will deliver competitive and exciting racing for all. Due to the number of entries and consequent heats we will have a LATE FINISH anticipated to be around 6.30pm. Would Club Captains and coaches please advise athletes and their families.

Boat park

The boat park will be full and it is imperative that trailers are parked in the designated locations. Please see the map. Whangarei: please note your trailer location adjacent to the off water area and keep crews and skiffs away from the flow of crews coming off water.
