This is the collection of regatta notices for the 2019 South Island Masters.

Safety Briefing, Registration & Wrist Bands

Registration and the Safety Briefing will be at the Lakes Hayes Pavilion on Friday.

Registration will open at 5pm. It will run through for about an hour after the Safety Briefing, which will start at 6pm.

Registration will be by club. Invoices have been sent out to all clubs. Registration and
payment of the invoice will result in wristbands being handed out at the Safety Briefing.

Every rower during the regatta will be expected to wear their wrist band. Checks on these will be
done from time to time as you get in or out of boats for racing.

There will be no coxswain weigh in.

Long distance racing

Boat loading is on Friday at Lake Hayes. The trailers will head to the marina in Kelvin Heights at 8:00am for unloading and rigging. Trailers will then go to Frankton beach, where boats can be recovered and de-rigged at the end of the race.

The race itself starts 9:00am in Frankton Arm near the yacht club and golf course. It finishes at Frankton Beach.

Function

The post-regatta function will be held at Coronet Peak. The venue opens at 6:00pm. Dinner will be served at 7:00pm. Prize-giving follows dinner.

Bus transport will be available to and from Coronet Peak.

Notes

Clubs. If you only have a password for the RowingNZ website then you will need a rowIT login so please contact us.

Schools. If you have a password provided by NZSSRA then you should log in through the school rowing website.
