The regatta started at 11am, 3 hours late, and the heats will continue to 3 hours late.

SISS Champs 2021 Accommodation

SIR Inc have been advised that the Otago Goldfields Heritage Trail will finish in Twizel on 6th March 2021 the same weekend as SISS Champs. We strongly advise you to secure accommodation for next years Champs now!

U17 2- exhibition events

The U17 pair exhibition events have been approved for SISSC and NISSC. They will only be open to students who are entered in no more than 2 other events i.e. in line with the per-student entry level recommended by the Schools Committee. The exhibition events fit into the standard programme between events 38 and 39.

Regatta schedule outline

The regatta will start at 1pm on Friday 13th March and finish on or about 5pm (Events 1 - 20). On Saturday racing will start at 8am and go through to about 2pm before a gap when Finals will commence at 3pm and conclude on or about 6pm (Events 1 - 20). On Sunday Finals will start at 8am and conclude on or about 1pm. These timings are based on the 2019 entry and the duration and number of events on each day may change. This is just a guide and may change when final entries are received.

U17 2- exhibition events

Following the request raised at the 2019 NZSSRA AGM SIR have applied for U17 Pair exhibition events. SIR are also applying for the exhibition events at Maadi. And KRI are applying for them at NISSC.

Clubs. If you only have a password for the RowingNZ website then you will need a rowIT login so please contact us.

Schools. If you have a password provided by NZSSRA then you should log in through the school rowing website.
