The weather committee has considered the forecasts for Saturday and Sunday and determined it is not within the guidelines to run a regatta at Koro Koro with southerly winds of around 4 knots and above.
Also, there is a heavy rainfall warning for Saturday and health and safety factors must be considered.
The regatta is postponed to the reserve dates of 5-6 March.
